A very special moment came when Mary showed St. Catherine a design of the medal she wanted created and said "Now it must be given to the whole world and to every person."
Mary knew when showing St. Catherine the Miraculous Medal that she wouldn't be able to complete the mission till the end of time, so we need to continue the mission to give the medal to everyone.
The Medal
On November 27, 1830, The blessed Virgin Mary appeared to St. Catherine Labouré and showed her a design of the Miraculous Medal. The design was Mary standing on the globe with a snake under her feet and rays extending from rings on her fingers to represent the grace given to us from her son. Mary asked St. Catherine to take these images to her father confessor, telling him that they should be put on medallions, Mary said "All who wear them will receive great graces."
